If you've never had professional portraits taken, treat yourself to a professional makeup artist and get your hair done. Trust me it is worth it.
Your makeup needs to truly match your skin tone so that your eye color and hair color look right. A professional will make sure any decolletage showing is covered as well, as you don't want a hard transition from the color of your neck to the color of your face. It needs to be all the same color or it will stand out in your portraits....and portraits last a lifetime. Makeup artists, like my associate and friend Dawn, know how to make you look your best by contouring your facial features to their best advantage. She knows how to help your eyes "POP" with out looking out of place. Our goal is to make you look your very best, so that people notice YOU...not your makeup. You can go for a minimalist look or all out glamour; it's up to you.

I've always loved taking pictures. It's only been in the last few years that it's become a passion of mine. My husband teases me that I am always looking at my surroundings as if I was looking thru my viewfinder. He's right!
